PARMA discovered my music in 2011 and offered me a non-exclusive agreement. The terms were quite good. I signed the agreement and 28 of my recordings were added to PARMA's catalog of pre-cleared production music.
After having my music at PARMA for four years, I decided to branch out with additional music licensing companies in 2015. My music was accepted by Directional Music and Zudo. At the time, I thought it was best to have non-exclusive agreements. However, several months ago I began to consider the pros & cons of switching to exclusive agreements with Directional Music and Zudo. Deciding to go exclusive, I terminated my 2011 agreement with PARMA in May.
I have a good feeling about the pending exclusive agreements. It is my understanding that many of the larger film & TV companies are now focusing more on exclusive agreement music. It is my hope that this new direction for my music will result in high quality music placements.
Of the 40 recordings I am currently using for music licensing, 23 are at Zudo and 17 are at Directional Music. More recordings will be added over time to both catalogs. See the Music Licensing page for details.
